1030pm-- finally, can step out of lab.It was an adventurous night, with imminent explosions anytime if we made slight mistakes.Didn't know tt friday the 13th, had such a bad effect on our process of getting the cryostat up and ready.
Firstly, it took us 8 hours to get rid of the liquid nitrogen.Then, chenchen dropped a small rubber tube and we scouted it for nearly an hour.Found a substitute by getting it from the liquid helium tank.Then, here came the best part!!!
Chenchen forgot to take off a tube before filling the tank with helium.... YS was the first to be gone coz he was standing right next to cryostat if explosions were to occur, then followed by chenchen , debashish , me and shikha.But apparently, God blesses us tremendously as we realized our mistake in time.During the process, we lost quite alot of helium.However, all of us were reminded to thank God for saving our lives by shikha.
Only managed to catch the ending of ASS tonite, onli to find out Jenna decided to quit.Live indeed is short.I was reminded twice today how dear life is.Truthfully speaking, i had no idea how close i was to death until shikha told me.And seriously, i am so blur and all i can think while in lab is just when can i get over all these stuff.
Tom, shall join dan and joo for their 8 am law tutorial class since at 9 am i hav to go to lab again.Hopefully, my day will be great on V-day!!!
