The last juror

As the story unfolds...i starts to zzzzzzz.Similarly for the bigfish movie, as the storytelling begins , my mind starts to wander off.Both are great stories , one by a fantastic author while the other has a great storyline.Somehow, i know tt it's my problem that i can't focus on hard facts for too long.

After reading through 15 chapters of the book, i am glad that my investment is worthwhile.
This book is about a newspaper, known as Times in a small country called Ford County.Basically, the story is set in the 1970s , hence blacks and whites are distinctively separated or classified.It is rare to see the blacks mix wif the whites , not to mention the appearance of a black amidst the juries.However, in this particular murder trial, one of the most distinguished black in the country was elected as a jury.......along wif this change, the new Times owner , has also brought dramatic changes in the style that Times reports the country's news.This in turn affects everyone's opinion on the murder trial as the defendant's lawyer pleaded that due to the gross publication done by Times, the presumption of innocence for his client has been ripped off effectively.However, no case of defamation or libel sue on this newspaper could be done.Not because it is protected by a strong , well-known family but because it is "protected" by the only judge in the country.
All murder trials are common, as you maybe wondering what is so interesting about this particular murder trial.
It is a unique case, especially for this case since it is in Ford County,a country where murder never existed till then.
Furthermore, the murderer was no commoner, but from a notorious family, well-known for smuggling drugs, timbers as well as for silencing anyone who dares to hinder its path.......

The above is just a brief summary of the first 15 chapters, and the rest of the chapters will be focusing on the trial as well as when the murderer was released again after he served his sentence.And, yeah, he didn't get the death penalty which is the reason that why i am so intrigued in finishing the book.
