4D3N HK -summer sales trip

Ciao a tutti! i m back in singapore once again after 4 days n back to blogging.

Due to the delayed flight, we only touched down at around 1220 midnight.Yeah, just in time for the great match of Italy vs France.We were discussing on which bet to place yesterday while wasting away 8 hours at the airport.I have a great liking for Italy since i spent about a yr there last yr=D

A brief summary of our trip=> shop n shop n shop till all of us were broke! Yes, we ended up with nil HK money n had to skip dinner until we boarded the stupid plane which was unfortunately delayed.

1st day

On the 1st day,after placing all our luggages, we headed to the famous day peak view.We took the peak tram to and fro.I was wondering what was so nice about the view until we stop at a very steep point - where we have an overview of the victoria harbour, kowloon city, tsim tsa shui etc.I have a problem with appreciating nice views after staying in europe n visiting the best views of mountains, lakes, n city view.This is just me, no personal attacks.

After reaching the peak we shop around n spotted the HRC branch at the peak.This saved our time to hunt for the main branch of HRC.Lots of snapshots n a break at the Macd, we headed to our next destination which is the mid-level escalator.
It took us awhile to ascertain the rite escalator n phew, this 40 min walk turned out more thant tt.We decided to forgo the last part of escalator n head back to tss.

It was already evening time when we reached the avenue of stars to view the symphony of lights.The display of lights lasted 15 mins - no commments about the show.
After tt we headed to sogo tss - to take a peak.

2nd day

We left the hostel at 830 am n took the suggested tss walk tour.
The sky was dark n we tried to cover as much as we could without getting drench- which we did not in the end.
First venue was the avenue of stars n clock of tower.Then, our shopping spree started at harbour city!We took a star ferry n yeah,i reminisced of the days i had in lake of como in italy!We shopped like crazy n since all of us r ladies, u can imagine how much fun it was.
The shopping mall was humungous- biggest in HK n we nearly got lost!

After this, we visited the nathan road n ladies market of mongkok.We also visited the temple street night market, fa yuen street n shang hai street.
We lunched at the Serenade chines restaurant n dine at ajisen ramen.
We were dead tired at the end of the day n smelling like salty fish!

3rd day

It started raining in the morn - but we were not baffled by the rain!! We headed to Tsieng ma bridge located at Tsing Yi n HK space musuem ( which was incidentally free as the air cond broke down!!!) However, we could not visit the ominax theatre!
There after, we lunched at superstar seafood restaurant before heading to kowloon city walled park at lok fun n wang tai sin temple!
Festival walk was our next destination - this place was gigantic too n by the end of the day our legs were wobbling!

We visited the Hang Fa Lau at causeway bay - it is a desert shop where we tasted 4 different kinds of desserts. We would give the desserts 4 stars out of 5!
There after, we went to the sogo at causeway bay to buy the lau po bin n other delicacies.After shopping awhile at sogo, we decided to hit the sack.


4th day

We had breakast at cafe of floral at wan chai station - nice breakfast ( nothing special about the milk tea).
We headed to the gold bauhinia square to take photos before attempting to take a tram ride.However, it started pouring before we managed to get on the tram ride.Hence, we gave up!
We checked out at 12 pm n headed to airport ( flight was scheduled to be at 845pm) - Reason why we left so early? All because of the biscuits!!!! Long story - don't wish to explain.

Nway, it was long day at airport with my legs full of red spots ( yeah, it was so itchy that my frens had to pacfiy me=D)

This 4D3N trip is great n my next target for next yr might be taiwan or jap!

Time to get back to reality n work!
